A Little About The Owner

Lexus LeMoine, the owner who started South Coast Canine in 2019, has an extensive background in dog behavior and training, and has over 10 years of experience. A graduate of Troy University, she obtained a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Lexus continued her education in an area that was always a passion of hers - working with animals. She attended Tarheel Canine Training in 2014 where she acquired her Master Trainer's Certification in the following areas: Professional Obedience, Behavior Modification, Narcotics and Explosives Detection, Tracking/Trailing, Patrol/Apprehension, and Personal Protection Dogs.

Lexus started with two dogs: a Belgian Malinois named Bad, also known as The "Rammer Jammer," and a German Shepherd named Sloan, both trained in the working fields. She also trains and competes her dogs in Protection Sport Association (PSA), an advanced level competition sport.

Over the years, she grew a passion for extreme behavior modification and with time developed a unique specialization for aggressive cases. She has been able to take what she does best and, with an always open mind, developed behavior modification training programs that have left many very happy with their previously not-so-happy animals. Her extensive background and experience, with training in all of these areas over the past 10 years, provides a vast and unique ideology in all of her training.

Lexus has now changed her path towards quality care for boarding and daycare. As Baldwin County grows rapidly, we are in need of more quality kennels around to board peoples furry family members when they are busy or going out of town.

She prides herself in safe, fun, quality care. Her and her team are excited to see this adventure through and provide the best possible care to her clients and their pets.
